Sara is an accomplished and highly respected dancer with over 12 years of teaching experience. Sara is currently dancing as a representative for Canada along with her partner, Evgueni Chaoulski. They have been dancing together for 2 years and were the Canadian representatives at the World Championships in Tokyo, Japan in 2009. Thay are the current 2010 Canadian Ten-Dance Champions and represented Canada at the World Championships in Ukraine in December. In addition to being a finalist in the Canadian National Championship they have been finalists in both the US and Canada including:

  • Philadelphia Dance Festival
  • Commonwealth Classic

Sara trains extensively with some of the world’s best coaches including Alain Doucet, Anik Jolicouer, Yulia Zagoruychenko, Max Kozhevnikov, Katusha Demidova, Paul Holmes and many others.

Sara was drawn to dance as a child and after experimenting with multiple styles of dancing, discovered her love of ballroom.  Sara has studied the standard, latin, smooth, and rhythm styles of dance.  She was awarded a Licentiate Degree by the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) and is a member of the Canadian Dance Federation.  Sara's teaching career began over 12 years ago as an Arthur Murray instructor.  Currently, Sara teaches independently throughout Connecticut and Massachusetts.  She teaches the East Hartford High School’s ballroom dance team, and the University of Connecticut Ballroom Dance Team.

Sara currently teaches at the Enfield Pearl Ballroom in CT.  She and Evgueni also teach at Studio 665, Studio 665, in Woburn MA.
